Many measuring methods reach their limits when it comes to complex components with internal structures. For this reason, GOM has developed a computer tomograph that is specially designed to meet the metrological needs of industry. As a metrology CT, the GOM CT delivers highly precise and repeatable measurement data. The system achieves complete surface meshes in maximum resolution with very small measurement volumes. The GOM CT scans transparent or complex injection molded components with internal structures that could not otherwise be measured without a destructive process. Applications include initial sample inspection, tool approval or the inspection of medical technology components.

The GOM ATOS III Triple Scan is primarily used for 3D measurement technology. It is recommended for components from a few millimetres to 25 meters. The 3D measurement technology measuring device measures with high precision and reads even critical surfaces perfectly. The CRYSTA-APEX S 9168 is CNC-controlled and effortlessly handles high quantities in series measurement. Its special feature is the thermal error compensation, which covers a range from 16 °C to 26 °C, so that it also achieves precise measurement results directly in the production environment. Incidentally, the 3DIMETIK measuring room is air-conditioned to a constant 20 °C (+/- 0.5 °C).

The device is also characterized by high movement stability, high accuracy and economical use. It is equipped with compatible image processing technologies, scanning technologies and laser scanners, ensuring absolute flexibility. We use high-precision modular systems from the Mitutoyo “eco fix” series as clamping devices, which ensures repeatable clamping accuracy.

With the Mitutoyo Surftest SJ-411 portable surface roughness measuring device, we can accurately measure all types of surface roughness – such as primary profile, roughness and waviness.
