Optical measurement in metrology
Optical 3D scanners measure without contact using optical sensors. A so-called stereo camera system is used for three-dimensional measurement and shape measurement. This captures complete 3D data, even from large and complex components.
Optical measurement is used in quality assurance, product development and production alike. What are the advantages of measuring with the GOM 3D scanner?
You can see very quickly whether the component complies with the specified dimensions by means of a false color comparison. This is a decisive advantage over other systems for component development.
